Linsay Rousseau is a SAG/AFTR actor, voice-over artist and singer. She performed with numerous theatre companies before transitioning to film and voice-over work. She has trained at the Berkeley Repertory School of Theatre, Studio A.C.T. at the American Conservatory Theater, The Groundlings, The Second City, Impro Studio, Waterfront Playhouse & Conservatory, VoiceTrax SF,  University of California Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and The College of William & Mary. Acting instructors include Charlie Adler, Ginny McSwain, Bob Bergen, Nancy Wolfson, Marc Graue, Jeff Howell, Ned Lott, Harry Dunn and MaryBeth Cavanaugh.

Linsay is a former journalist and graduate of the University of California, Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. She was one of four Carnegie Fellows chosen to work with the Brian Ross Investigative Reporting Unit at ABC News in New York and worked as a production associate and associate producer for PBS Frontline. Her masters thesis, “Rape in the Field,” went on to be produced by PBS Frontline, the Center for Investigative Reporting and Univision. The documentary has won the Alfred I. duPont-Colombia Award, John F. Kennedy Journalism Award, Public Radio News Directors Award and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism. Prior to attending Berkeley, she served as a public affairs sergeant for the U.S. Army’s 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), working as a journalist, photographer and videographer. She spent a year in the northern Iraq province of Kirkuk documenting and reporting on combat and humanitarian operations. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a BA in sociology and minor in anthropology.
